TzHaar Fight Cave Strategies

For any donator rank, players start at wave 63, where TzTok-Jad spawns. Non-donators begin at wave 60. This guide provides strategies for both donator and non-donator starts.

Suggested Stats

  • 75+ Ranged
  • 44+ Prayer

Suggested Gear

Any decent Ranged gear should suffice. Recommended weapons include a Magic shortbow or Rune crossbow (or better). Bring a few Prayer potions, a Ranged potion if available, and food.

Donator Ranks

For all donator ranks, players start at wave 63, directly at TzTok-Jad. Jad has two attacks: **Ranged and Magic**. Players must **switch prayers in time with Jad's attack animations**:

  • **Ranged attack** – Jad stomps, causing an earthquake-like effect.
  • **Magic attack** – Jad growls, rears up, and fires a fireball.
TzTok-Jad attack animations

Players must switch **between Protect from Missiles and Protect from Magic** when Jad begins his attack animation. Switching too late may result in being hit.

At **half health**, Jad’s **healers (Yt-HurKot)** spawn. Tag each healer once to draw their aggro and prevent them from healing Jad excessively. After managing the healers, finish off Jad to claim the **Fire Cape**.

Non-Donators

Non-donators begin at wave **60**. Below are the steps leading to **wave 63**, where they can use the donor strategy.

Wave Monsters Notes
60 Ket-Zek (360), Yt-MejKot (180), Tok-Xil (90), Tok-Xil (90) Kill the Tok-Xils first!
61 Ket-Zek (360), Yt-MejKot (180), Yt-MejKot (180) Use Protect from Magic for the next wave. Watch where the **orange Ket-Zek** spawns.
62 Ket-Zek (360), Ket-Zek (360) Locate the **orange Ket-Zek** as quickly as possible. Before killing the last Ket-Zek, restore **HP and Prayer**. Start the next wave with **Protect from Missiles** active and be ready to switch protection prayers immediately.

Once **wave 63** begins, refer to the **donator guide** to defeat **TzTok-Jad**.
