From levels 26 to 32 you will be planting Harralanders.

While you are planting your Harralanders, level 27 Farming unlocks the ability to plant the lowest level fruit tree, apple trees. From this point forward, while you are planting your herbs you will simultaneously be planting the highest level fruit tree you can.
There are quite a lot of ways to train farming... All the way from being at AFK zone (A lot of people do this to start off with to get a few starting levels - All the way to planting Magic Trees.

'''Please Note''' in this guide I will be covering the most commonly used method to get to 99 farming for the non extreme game modes. If you are on 10x or 3x I recommend either doing what I've listed (just a lot more times) or looking up the efficient farming guides on youtube for OSRS, as most of them translate on SimpleScape.
From levels 32 to 44 you will be planting Ranarr herbs.

At level 33 you unlock the second lowest fruit tree - the Banana tree.

At level 39 you unlock the third lowest fruit tree - the Orange tree.

At level 42 you unlock the next fruit tree - the Curry tree.

Why train farming?

Did you know farming is technically the quickest 99 you can get in terms of hours spent actively farming? The rest is just waiting around for your crops/trees to grow. Fortunately on SimpleScape all grow timers are 4x that the rate of OSRS! For example, a Magic Tree which gives over 1 million XP (50x GameMode) only takes 2 hours to grow!

In short though Farming is a pretty essential skill to get to 99. Its an ironmans best friend, paired with herblore. Farming even translates into late game content, for example Chambers of Xeric!

How To Train Farming..?

There are quite a lot of ways to train farming... All the way from being at AFK zone (A lot of people do this to start off with to get a few starting levels - All the way to planting Magic Trees.

Please Note in this guide I will be covering the most commonly used method to get to 99 farming for the non extreme game modes. If you are on 10x or 3x I recommend either doing what I've listed (just a lot more times) or looking up the efficient farming guides on youtube for OSRS, as most of them translate on SimpleScape.

Levels 1-15

For the first few levels, there are two main methods used.

Method 1 - Planting Allotments

To get to level 15 you can plant allotments, specifically: Potatoes, Cababges, and Tomatoes. You will need 3 seeds of each of the fore-mentioned seeds to plant one allotment. You will also need the following tools:

  • Rake

  • Seed dibber – to plant the seeds.
  • Spade – to harvest the crops once they’re grown.
  • Watering can - to water the crops
  • Gardening trowel
  • Compost/Supercompost/Ultracompost - to help the success rate of your crops!

You can find all the necessary tools needed at the Shopkeeper at Home:

Here is a list of allotment patches:

*South of Falador

*North of Catherby

*North-east of Ardougne

*South-east of Great Kourend

They look like this on the minimap:

Method 2 - The Afk Zone

While I definitely dont encourage you to AFK on the best RSPS there is out there - for the higher game modes (50x and 25x)... The AFK zone can be a good first way of getting those first 15 levels somewhat quickly.

You can do this by getting a pair of secateurs and harvesting Yggdrasil as pictured below:

Levels 15-99 - Trees

For the remainder of your journey I recommend combining all methods of farming: Allotments, Herbs and Trees.

From level 15 you can plant Oak Trees. While Trees are slow, they give insane amounts of XP across all game modes.

You will also need the following tools to get a tree planted:

  • Spade
  • Rake
  • Watering can (for saplings)
  • Trowel (for planting saplings)
  • Tree sapling (grown from a tree seed and filled plant pot)

Getting Seeds

To get tree seeds in SimpleScape you can either PickPocket Master Farmers (38 thieving minimum, 99 and rogues outfit recommended) however you will get an assortment of seeds, not just tree seeds. Tree seeds being rarer aswell. You can find them all across the world, the Farming Guilding and Draynor Village being popular options.

For a more targeted approach you can get them from monsters! Just look up whatever seed you would like in your drop viewer found in your achievement tab > server details > drop viewer:

Preparing Saplings

To plants trees you will need to prep some saplings... Heres how you do it!

  • Use a tree seed on a filled plant pot (with soil). You can buy these from the ShopKeeper at Home. Also make sure you have a gardening trowel
  • Water the pot with a watering can to create a sapling.
  • Wait for the sapling to grow (approximately 30 secodns real-time).

Planting The Tree

Once you have all of that sorted, time for planting! Here is a list of tree locations:

  • Varrock Castle
  • Falador Park
  • Taverley
  • Lumbridge (Behind Lumbridge Castle)
  • Tree Gnome Stronghold
  • Farming Guild

Tree Patch Locations look like this on the mini map, be sure to hover over the spade icon to make sure it is a patch if in doubt:

Harvesting Tree

Once you have waited the appropriate amount of time a "Check Health" option will appear when you right click the tree. Once you click this you will be rewarded the corresponding XP (Its HEAPS!) and then you will need to chop it down.

Because I'm lazy asf, I just pay the NPC next to the tree 200 coins to chop it down for me lol...

Levels Needed

Here is a list of levels needed for trees... God I love talking this much about trees.

In Summary

In summary, trees trees trees yes yes yes.... Mmmmm treeeeeeeeeeeees... Just go plant some trees bro come on. The pet is sick and it doesn't take long. Get that max cape boi.
